MORNINGS
I love mornings! I am an early riser. No matter what time I go to bed, between 5:30 and 6:30 a.m, I’m up..So every day I get to see anew day begin, when darkness turns to light. I love that time of day because yesterday is now in the past what ever happened good or bad, it’s behind me..I get to face a brand new day with fresh ideas and clarity of a rested mind.
This is when I see the beauty of God’s creation as I open the blinds and see the trees covered with frost, a red cardinal in the bushes and the streets still void of any activity.
In this stillness, I realize the blessings I have received and I focus only on the great and wonderful things I have been given freely, including this day.
By 7:30 Am, I have finished my devotional, placed my entry in my journal and activity begins. If it’s a work day I prepare for it, if not I plan for the usual, clean house etc. and deal with whatever needs to be taken care of.
No matter what this new day brings , I always have the knowledge that in every situation, no matter what, a new morning always comes.
