I AM A NEW GRANDMA
YEAH !!!! His name is Jeffrey James, he came in at 8lbs 03 oz, 20 and a half inches long, at 10:36 am, on 1-26-09….Oh, the blessing…
This will make number 7, and each one is a blessing beyond imagination. Had I know being a grandmother was so much fun, I would have avoided motherhood and gone directly to being a grandma….New life, new hope and so much joy…..
A few years ago, my grandson at the age of 4 (he’s now going on 9) called me all by himself and proceeded to tell me ” grandma, you know what your son did to me?” and proceeded to tell me that he was being punished for some deed he had done. How sweet is that?..
My granddaughter and I have constant communication pertaining to our webkinz.(she’s 7 going on 16). Then, I have an 11 year old genius.At the age of 6 to 7 He could pronounce all the dinosaurs names correctly and correcting me in my ignorance as I faltered in the pronunciations each one…ask him any question about marine life or anything scientific and by golly he knows the answer.
My other grandchildren are just as smart in their own interests….I guess being a grandma is so wonderful ‘cause, we get to have all the fun with none of the responsiblities and we get to tell our grown children, now parents…see, it isn’t as easy as you thought….Remeber that statement they used to make to us….”
”when I have children, I will never do this or that” YEAH RIGHT….welcome to my shoes…hope they fit you better because the path is long.
