JUST BLABBIN'
I have the hardest time with patience… I know I have to work on this , but why? Why can’t things move at my pace? Wouldn’t it be nice if they did.. I have this one teeny little flaw (just one mind you), when I come up with an idea or project, I want to go at it with gusto…for instance, I love to change things around my home. Every time I do , it gives me a different perspective or outlook of my house..Like a new beginning…
I like things organized, I hate cluttered cabinets and piles here and there. On the other hand my husband is complete opposite..He saves EVERYTHING,(Argh!).
To me, nothing is impossible, as long as I try and even perhaps fail at least I gave it a shot..I have learned to lay laminate floor , assisted in installing windows, ripped up carpeting, worked in gardens learned how to can the goods grown (We have shelves full of the stuff).
I like my daughter Lisa’s attitude, when she sees something needs to be done, her famous words are “make it happen”! My daughter Patricia is relentless , she goes after her project with such tenacity , it would not dare fail..My daughter Marie, my perfectionist, has the patience of a saint ..She sees an opportunity, goes after it and masters it, no matter how long it takes. She decorates the most beautiful cakes, self taught, and they always come out perfect..She has blessed many with her beautiful creations.
With spring peeking around the corner, I have been getting the urge more than ever…Recently, I deceided I wanted a pocket door in one of my rooms, well, within a week the door was up, and to add to my excitement, we found the original sliding door when we removed the mouldings.. the darn thing is over 100 years old and in perfect condition..it looks great and serves the exact purpose I wanted..Plus saved me a few hundred dollars.
My list of things I want to get done is slowly shortening, every year I make sure that at least 3 projecects get done..It gives me such a boost to see something new and knowing I worked on it…I don’t know why I shared this with you, I guess I’m just blabbing…
